Welcome to Saddlerock Vineyards & Safari
We are pleased to offer you an exceptional wine and wildlife experience. To ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all guests, staff, and animals, we require all participants to review and agree to the following terms and conditions prior to participation in any tour or activity.
1. Tour Overview
Saddlerock Vineyards & Safaris offers two types of guided tours:
Family-Friendly Tour: Suitable for all ages.
Safari vehicles are not compatible with strollers or car seats.
Boarding and disembarking safari vehicles involve physical movement that may present risk when holding infants.
Children must remain seated and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
Adults-Only Tour: Exclusively for guests aged twenty-one (21) and older. This tour includes wine tastings conducted in compliance with Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) guidelines.
Guests are responsible for ensuring they book the appropriate tour type prior to purchase.
2. Private Tours
Private tours may be arranged with a minimum of two (2) weeks’ advance notice.
Custom tour requests may be submitted to support@saddlerocksafaris.com for review and scheduling.
3. Age Restrictions
Children under the age of two (2) are not permitted on safari tours.
Safari vehicles are not compatible with strollers or car seats.
Boarding and disembarking safari vehicles involve physical movement that may present risk when holding infants.
Children must remain seated and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
4. Accessibility
While the main lodge and facilities are wheelchair accessible, safari vehicles are not.
Guests requiring accommodation or assistance should contact support@saddlerocksafaris.com in advance of booking so that reasonable arrangements may be explored.
5. Animals and Service Animals
Due to the nature of our operating environment and proximity to exotic and domestic animals:
Pets, emotional support animals, and service animals are not permitted on general tours.
Exceptions are limited to areas outside of animal enclosures and must be pre-approved.
These restrictions are in place for the safety of both guests and wildlife.
6. Attire and Personal Preparation
Guests are advised to:
Wear closed-toed shoes and clothing suitable for outdoor activity.
Check weather conditions prior to arrival.
Bring water, sunscreen, and hats in warm months, or jackets and gloves during colder seasons.
Secure loose items prior to boarding safari vehicles.
7. Arrival, Check-In, and Late Policy
Guests must arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to departure for check-in, waiver completion, and boarding.
Waivers are required for all participants and may be completed online during booking or at check-in.
A valid, physical government-issued photo ID (driver’s license or passport) is required for all guests participating in wine tastings. Digital copies are not accepted.
Guests arriving more than 15 minutes past departure time may forfeit participation. When possible, the tour may be rebooked at no additional charge.
8. Weather Policy
Because weather conditions in Texas can be variable:
Light Rain: Tours operate as scheduled. Guests may opt to reschedule but are not eligible for refunds.
Severe Weather: If management determines that conditions are unsafe, tours will be refunded or rebooked.
Guests who choose to rebook will receive a 10% credit redeemable toward wine or merchandise at the lodge following their tour.
9. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled tour are eligible for a full refund or may be rebooked with a 10% lodge credit.
Cancellations within seven (7) days of the scheduled tour are non-refundable, though rescheduling may be offered when possible.
No refunds will be issued for same-day cancellations, no-shows, or early departures.
10. Food and Beverage Policy
Outside food and beverages are not permitted on safari vehicles or near animals.
Animal feed and wine tastings (for adults-only tours) are provided by Saddlerock Vineyards & Safaris.
Light snacks may be available during select tours or at the lodge.
11. Photography and Media Policy
Guests may take personal photographs and videos during tours.
Commercial or professional photography, including drone use, requires written approval from management.
Requests may be submitted to support@saddlerocksafaris.com and will be reviewed individually.
By entering the premises, guests grant permission for Saddlerock Vineyards & Safaris to use their image or likeness in promotional materials, without compensation.
12. Gift Cards
E-gift cards will be available for online purchase and redemption in the near future.
13. Restroom Access
Restrooms are available at the lodge before tours depart.
During the approximately 90-minute safari, restroom access is provided during the 30-minute tasting stop.
14. Guest Code of Conduct
All guests are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and responsibly.
Guests must:
Follow all verbal and written instructions from guides or staff.
Remain seated while vehicles are in motion and keep arms, hands, and belongings inside at all times.
Treat all animals, staff, and fellow guests with respect.
Refrain from disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behavior.
Consume alcoholic beverages responsibly.
Comply with all property signage and safety instructions.
Saddlerock Vineyards & Safaris reserves the right to remove any guest from a tour or the property, without refund, for behavior deemed unsafe, intoxicated, or in violation of these policies.
15. Safety Policy
Participation is at each guest’s own risk.
Guests must use handrails when boarding or disembarking vehicles.
Climbing fences, entering restricted areas, or feeding animals without direction is prohibited.
Saddlerock Vineyards & Safaris staff may terminate a tour if guest conduct compromises safety or animal welfare.
16. Liability Waiver
By purchasing a ticket and participating in any activity at Saddlerock Vineyards & Safaris, guests acknowledge and agree that:
Participation may involve inherent risks including, but not limited to, exposure to animals, uneven terrain, and movement of vehicles.
Saddlerock Vineyards & Safaris, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with their participation.
17. Property Rules
Littering, vandalism, or damage to property or equipment is prohibited.
Smoking and vaping are allowed only in designated areas.
Guests are financially responsible for damage caused by negligence or misconduct.
18. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a ticket, checking in, or participating in any Saddlerock Vineyards & Safaris activity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, Conditions, and Code of Conduct.
Failure to comply with these policies may result in immediate removal from the property without refund.
